How do I set up the iLocateMobile – Family Locator App?
Download the iLocateMobile – Family Locator app from Google or Apple app Store. You can find your location under “My Location” tab for premium subscribers. To locate added phones in your account please follow the below steps.
a) Add the numbers which you want to find to your account.
b) An Invitation code will be generated for each phone number added to your account.
c) Download the iLocateMobile – Family Locator app on the other phone which you want to find and give him/her the Invitation code. Once the invitation code is entered, you can find phone of the other person with their consent. Please note that the consent is pretty much important while Locator phone location of the other person as they are always aware that their phone is getting located and they can also stop phone Locator whenever they want.
What is an Invitation code?
An invitation code is a code which is generated whenever user adds a phone number of other person to his/her account. The other person being located, has to download the iLocateMobile – Family Locator app on his/her phone and insert the invitation code.
This unique code is one-time use. The Invitation code has a validity period of 30 days and if it is not used within the stipulated time period the invitation code will expire.
In case the Invitation code has expired the account holder has to generate new invitation code by deleting and re adding the same phone number again to his/her account.
How to insert the Invitation code?
To insert the Invitation code please follow the below steps.
a) Download the iLocateMobile – Family Locator app on the phone which you want to find.
b) Select the option “I have an Invitation code” from the given options.
c) Insert the code and the phone number and it is done.
Please make sure Location settings are turned ON in the phone which you want to find for GPS Locator to get proper location details.
Android Users:
You can close the app and still get the find phone location of the other phone which you want to find. It is not necessary for the app to run in the background.
iPhone and iPad Users:
The app needs to run in the background in order to get the find phone location.
Can two users/parents find the same phone number?
Yes 2 parents can find the same phone number. Both the parents can monitor the phone number provided each of the parent have setup their own account on iLocateMobile – Family Locator app and added the number of the family member for family Locator and the member has given them the consent for location Locator.
In case if someone else tries to add the same phone number to their account rather than the 2 parents for third account, it will not be allowed due to security reason.
Thus locate any phone app will only allow both the parents (mother and father) to find phone number of their son/daughter.
How can I view the Invitation code for added mobiles to my account?
The Invitation code will be visible only for those phone’s who have not yet accepted your invitation for family Locator.
To view the Invitation code please follow the below steps:-
a) Open the locate any phone app on your phone.
b) Open the Menu.
c) Select Edit/Delete Added Mobile option.
d) You can view the Invitation code for all the users who have not yet accepted your invitation for family Locator.

How is iLocateMobile – Family Locator app useful for me?
iLocateMobile – Family Locator is a location Locator app that helps you to find phone location of your own, family and friends with their consent. We have crossed more than 5 Million downloads on google play store.
Which Platform Support iLocateMobile – Family Locator App?
iLocateMobile – Family Locator works on Android and iPhone and iPad devices. You can download the app from Google Play Store and Apple App store.
Can I locate my lost or stolen device if iLocateMobile – Family Locator app was not installed on the phone?
No. You will not be able to locate your lost or stolen phone with iLocateMobile – Family Locator unless the locate any phone app was installed on the phone prior to the device being lost or stolen. Also location services need to be enabled in order to find phone location.

Is two way Locator possible in iLocateMobile – Family Locator app?
iLocateMobile – Family Locator is a one-way location Locator app. You can find a phone of others but they cannot find you back. You can check your own location history in “My Location“ tab for premium subscribers only.
Can I find someone’s location without their knowledge or consent?
No, it is not possible to find someone’s phone location using family locator app without their knowledge or consent. You need to take their approval in order to find their phone location. The family locator app has to be installed in the phone which you want to find otherwise you cannot find them.
Why is location result not getting updated on the phone which I want to find?
Location Locator result not getting updated on the phone which you want to find can happen due to one of the following reasons.
a) The Location Locator settings are turned OFF in the phone which you want to find.
b) The iLocateMobile – Family Locator app is uninstalled on the phone which you want to find.
c) The phone does not have an Internet connection.
How can I improve the location accuracy?
In order to improve location accuracy please make sure that GPS is turned ON and the results will be much better with higher accuracy.
Turning GPS on for your phone does not improve the accuracy of the phone numbers which are added to your account they must also turn ON the GPS on their phone too.
Can I view Location History?
Yes you can view your location history of your own phone location under “My Location” tab for premium subscribers.
You need to be a premium subscriber of the app in order to view the location history of your own phone. Premium users can also view 30 day’s location history for all the added phones in their account.
Security & Privacy Related
Will you share my location details with any one?
No, we don’t share any of our your details with anyone under any circumstances.
Do you send any kind of notification either email or text message to the phone number being located?
No, we don’t send any kind of notification to the phone number which is being located. Please note that locate any phone is not a Spy software.
The phone Locator is done with the consent of the other person and the other person is always aware that his phone location is getting located by GPS Locator and locate any phone app has to be downloaded on the phone which you want to find.
Account / Profile Related
How do I change my password?
To change your password please follow the below steps:
a) Open the locate any phone app on your phone.
b) Go to menu.
c) Select Change Password.
Now you can change the password as per your requirement.
I forgot my password. What to do now?
In order to resent the password please follow the below steps:
a) Open the locate any phone app on your phone.
b) Click on the forgot password button/link.
c) Enter your registered email address.
The password will be emailed to you immediately at your registered email address and now you can access your account.
How do I cancel my account subscription?
To cancel your account subscription, please follow the below steps.
a) Open the locate any phone app on your phone.
b) Open the Menu.
c) Select “My Profile“
d) Select “Delete Account “option to cancel your subscription.
e) In case of premium subscription, you need to cancel it from the subscription from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
How do I delete my account and other details?
To delete your account subscription, please follow the below steps.
a) Open the locate any phone app on your phone.
b) Open the Menu.
c) Select “My Profile“ from the menu options
d) Select the “Delete Account “option to delete your account.

Can I use same account after upgrading or changing to a new phone?
Yes, you can use your same account of family locator app even after upgrading or changing your phone.
But due to security reasons you need to get in touch with our support team at support@ilocatemobile.com for more details and they will do the needful to activate your account for your new phone.
So now you can enjoy your old account on new phone without any troubles and use iLocateMobile – Family Locator app with out any issues.
Can I use same account after changing my phone number?
No, you cannot use the same account with new phone number. You need to setup new account with locate any phone app with your new phone number and use that account.
How do I delete phone number added to my account?
To delete phone number to your account, please follow the below steps.
a) Open iLocateMobile – Family Locator app.
b) Open the Menu.
c) Select Edit / Delete Added phone option.
d) Delete the phone which you want to remove from your account.
Add Phone to Locate is a premium feature so you need to buy premium subscription in order to use it.
How do I cancel my premium account subscription?
Just uninstalling the app from your phone will not cancel the premium subscription. It is still active till the time you cancel it from app store.
In order to cancel premium subscription for the iLocateMobile – Family Locator app you need to cancel the subscription from Google Play Store or Apple App Store so that you are not billed again for the premium subscription. In case if you fail to cancel the premium subscription from the app store you may be billed again next time.
